[LFP] looking for 1 player for homebrew 5e (saturday nights)

ive had some terrible luck with players, I am looking for yet one more to fill a spot in our campaign in progress. games are Saturday nights at 9pm est every Saturday. discord is an absolute MUST and must be included at the end of your application. I'm looking for a good and dedicated player who will show up on time and show up consistently. this a homebrew campaign so DO NOT write any sort of backstory, we will have to chat about that at a later time. the party already consists of a wizard, monk, paladin and cleric so please keep that in mind. what I would like to see out of an application is creativity, we tend to be very silly during games so someone who is super duper serious about the game probably wont fit in here, we are all top tier meme lords here. so please be creative and try to think outside the box with your application, the most intresting one will be accepted.

Hello! I may be interested. I am newer to D&D, but I have played quite a few games in the past, it has just been a few years. So I would need a refresher, but I catch on quickly. How late do you all typically go? I am in my mid 20's and located on East Coast.

Hello Giantdad, I am very interested in your campaign.  However I believe that we should chat at some point prior to you making the decision of whether or not I belong in your story.  I’m terms of filling out the party, I am open to any class, and would play it with a heavy rp mindset.  I only really have a heavy experience with pathfinder, however I’m looking to experience the 5e format.  I’ve spent a lot of time looking up classes and brainstorming what I’d like vs. disklike and I have a general understanding of most rules due to watching the majority of critical role.  But as I’ve said, I’d like to discuss character ideas/backstories with details from your campaign.  I’m currently typing this while in class (uni student), so I don’t have my discord tag, but if you want to send me some additional details about the story, the players, along with your discord tag that would be awesome!  I’d love to discuss the specifics with you in discord whenever you are free. Hey! I have played D&D 5e for a long time, but only used Roll20 a bit. The 9pm EST is 6pm PST for me, so perfect time, I'm always available then. And if all that wasn't enough - I can teach you all somthing because: I kno da wae....  All memes aside, I do have a discord. Dearest GiantDad, I happen to go by many names, but most notably I've been referred to as Lil Frosty. I have been playing D&D for as long as my legs could support me and my hands could roll dice. In all seriousness though, this would be my first 5E game. However, that doesn't mean I haven't been looking into the format. Perchance you could ask your monk as to the seriousness of this application, (Believe me, The Monk knows a lot about me).  Your time frame works with me, 9pm EST is fantastic. And I can handle whatever Memes you guys decide to hash out. Talk some trash, I'll send it back. As to the Roleplaying aspect of this game, I get quite deep into my character's Backstory and love even adopting what I believe would be my character's way of speaking and acting.  Anyway, I hope to hear from you in a response. I am completely new to D&D, well, mostly.  Unless you count Neverwinter Nights.
