[LFP][UTC +0][Zweihander] Zweihander: The Circus in Town

| [ Grim and Perilous Website ] | [ Free PDF of the system ] | [ Roll20 Link ] - - - About the System Zweihander is a TRPG based heavily on Warhammer Fantasy (And is commonly referred to as a Not!Warhammer Fantasy System) . It is also known as a ‘Heart-Breaker System’, as is thus not for the faint-hearted. The goal of this system is figuratively “Survive as long as you can, with everything stacked against you”. It uses a d100, with the goal to roll under the Total Modifier. The Total Modifier is generated through numerous factors, such as Attribute Stat, Skill Rank, and Difficulty Modifier. At its core, it's a very challenging system. However, new players will still be greeted with open arms, as the DM (Me!) is personally still learning the system. - - - About the DM Hello, my name is Eeon. I like to consider myself to be a decent, flawed DM, with most of my experience coming from DnD 5th Edition. I like to follow the rules in the book, but will grand certain freedoms when the ruling themselves are left a bit vague. Yet despite my flavor for rule-lawyering, I am a pro-RolePlay DM, and I have stalled plots and encounters if people are roleplaying. My style is very reactive instead of proactive, thus I will happily wait until players have decided, and emoted, to continue onwards. You have full control over the pacing of the story. I rely a lot on the 'Theather of Mind' style, and will generally only employ pictures with thematic background music and sound-queues fitting of the current scene. I will use the Roll20 battle map when needed, such as in combat encounters, so supplying a character picture would be appreciated. The quality of the maps will vary depending on the amount of time I've had to prepare for it. Note: If you prefer to listen to your own music while playing, simply notify me ahead of time so that I can adjust my style around that. I will also note that I have not played this system before , but I have read the core books extensively. - - - # Other information The starting date itself is Tuesday, March 27 8:10PM GMT+0 (Starting later or earlier depending on interest),  but the time is locked. The goal is to play for 3 to 4 hours. Applications are entirely free-form, with no requirements, rules or structure. You are free to apply however you want.  There will be certain things I am looking for, such as and not limited to; grammar and spelling competency, word-selection, and detail. - - -
What kind of campaign do you plan to run?
I have two plot ideas (Also posted on the roll20 forum thingy for LFG) The first plot is a simple, tried-and-true Urban campaign, where the players are part of the Holy Order of Saint Leumond the Protector. Their job? To hunt the vile and the corrupt within the heart of the Empire, and to keep the existence of the Unholy a secret from the population. The second plot is slightly more complex. The players will, by day, be a part of a circus troupe (Either as part of the show, or as handymen/women, their decisions), and will travel across the Empire to put up shows for the population on the fringes of society. But by night, they are Monster Hunters, seeking out the taint of Chaos where-ever it may be, using the Circus as a cover.

Will you be doing chargen procedurally, or would people be able to pick what they want to be?
I will be employing a slightly different char-gen than in the book. All cosmetic rolls may be picked, but those with mechanical interactions will be rolled on. I may use a Fate pool to let people reroll things they really don't like, but I haven't decided on that yet.
