The Old Lady DM is still going. We broadcast each Sunday night at 5:30pm Pac, 8:30 East or 1:30am GMT. The Dawnwatch Company is experiencing Curse of Strahd... or perhaps I should say "the Curse of Strahd setting." After setting off every possible attack in Vallaki and then inventing a half dozen with some "very bad choices" as one of them likes to say, the team has commandeered Wachterhaus as its "Military Commandant HQ," of a sorts. They now are the defacto government in Vallaki, whether they wish to be or not. We had some hilarious moments last week when a blood-splattered, greataxe-wielding, bare-chested half-orc barbarian, carrying the head of a cultist, decided to play the part of a "calming voice" on the terrified servants... DM: "You must roll for intimidation." Orc: "I'm not trying to intimidate." DM: "Blood. Guts. Axe. Bloody head. Raging. Terrifying appearance. Roll for intimidation." Orc: "Sigh." [ROLLS A CRIT 24] DM: "She is terrified out of her wits and cowering in the corner." Orc: "I go outside the room and lay down my axe and the head, and try again." DM: "She is currently terrified. You have disadvantage on the roll, with highest roll counting as disadvantage. Roll intimidation." Orc: [ROLLS 24 | 24] Throws up hands and walks out as servant goes screaming out the back door. "OK, maybe I'm not the best one for this!" This week the team hopes (finally) to find out why the whole of Barovia is missing its wine shipments. They plan to run out quickly to the winery and return... since nothing can happen at a winery. Dawnwatch Company: "Do the rest of you hear the maniacal laughing in the background?" https://twitch.tv/mtnmama1
