Hello! I currently DM a game on Friday nights, and am looking to find a weekly game to join as a player. I'm looking for a 5e game that would be based on roleplay. I'm not interested in canned module based games that involve following a plot just to go from one fight to the next. I've tried a few of those and as time passes they degrade into less and less interesting games. I prefer homebrew games that take characters and their stories as a basis for some of the plot. You'll find me to be a player who: - puts in effort well beyond just showing up on game night - enjoys participating in discord chat throughout the week in between sessions - likes to build interesting characters that help hold a party together (no edgy loner types from me) - prefers to speak in character when its appropriate instead of just saying things like 'my character agrees'. My biggest challenge is that the time slot 9pm +EST, as I have young kids and don't want to play until they're asleep. Send me a PM if you'd like to chat on discord.
