Hello, first time posting here I think. # The issue: * The process for clearing the chat archive and deleting the game is way too similar. * To delete the game you click the delete game button and you get a confirmation box to type in "DELETE". * To clear the chat archive you click a button right above the delete game option and a confirmation box pops up and asks to type in "CONFIRM". * I do not think it is ridiculous to be confused with the thought "yes I want to delete the chat archive so let me type in DELETE." Followed by: "Oh that was my game. 300 hours of work since my last backup." # Why it becomes an issue: * I love the chat archive because with it I can review the sessions. It is amazing to be able to do this! * But for some reason the chat archive is very finicky and it can stop loading completely when it has many messages inside. This has a workaround which is good enough: 1. open the chat archive every once in a while, copy it's contents to a file to save on your PC; 2. delete the chat archive. It never gets too big and never stops loading. But it requires me to clear the archive frequently, each time with the chance that I delete my game instead. # My suggestion: * Option a) It would be great if the process for deleting a game would take us to a new page, which would have a big and obvious warning, followed by the delete game confirmation as it is now. * Option b) Another option that seems to be even easier to implement (even if not as safe) is to change the confirmation text to something like "DELETE THIS GAME". At least it would not be so easy to get confused. * Extra safety option) leave deleted games visible with the rollback option available. So if someone deletes a game it would still be visible under my games (maybe with a cross in front of it). upon clicking it the GM would be informed that it is deleted and have the roll back option there. After the normal rollback period passes the game is actually deleted. Thank you for your time.
