Very New DM looking for 3 more players for D&D 4e

I want to start a new D&D 4e game that will be a regular Friday night game. No more than five players, who must be patient with a fledgling DM. It will be in a world that I, with the player's help, will be making. I want to go for a pirate/nautical type of theme. Please respond here or contact me on skype, with some information about the character you want to play. I would like a decent background and a reason that you are a crew member or passenger on a trade ship headed to the island of Janta. What time would the game be? Also, are you going to use Skype... cause I really dislike Skype and would prefer gplus to anything else.

If it is at a time that works for a GMT player then I wouldn't mind playing, i like JTB have came to dislike Skype i can offer a teamspeak server for the game(s).

Games will run from six to ten/eleven EST. We will use skype or the default roll20 stuff. I used google plus once and found it annoying, personally. We have a rogue and a bard so far and I would like a fairly balanced group, so keep that in mind.
