Recently I have had two players have to leave my campaign due to real life obligations. I am looking to pick up one or two new players to replace them. The campaign is a world focused homebrew 5th edition game. I like to focus on character development and story building with major and minor arcs. I do a lot of downtime stuff with some special rules for it to further develop my world and your characters stories. A bit about the world. The game focuses on the adventurers in a trade hub town of Westridge. Westridge has several small factions 1. The Escarian Trade organisation. A group of wealthy Merchants and nobles from Escartha. They give simple jobs that pay more then they should. Some say that getting in good with the Escarians is the only way to better yourself in this world.
2. The River Tanners. A group of people that will pay good gold for hide and leather or dead beasts. They can make wonderous things from this hide.
3. The Blue District Artisans. Many say the blue Disctrict artisans are the reason this town went from a small village in the woods to a blossoming trade hub filled with multiple cultures and people. They will pay for manual labor. Honest pay for honeast work.
4. The Masked church. Little is known about the masked god and his fallowers. But they do good for the people of Westridge. Many of the nobles have been seen having meetings with the members of this church.
5. The Tramplers. This group of animal tamers pay good coin for you to bring them rare and exotic beasts. They pay ok for average things also. If you need a good horse or hunting companion visit the tramplers. Recently two of the party members were captured by fire newts. The next few sessions will be dedicated to rescuing them. Think of the sessions as a try out. Players will start at level 5 and gain a few extra things that will be discussed in character creation. Make your own backstory and I will try to work it into my world I may have to change some small things. Rules. 1. Don't Be a dick. Simple rule. 2. If I make a ruling on something and you don't agree thats fine but lets not hold up the game for it simply talk to me during a break or after the session about it. If its a in the moment thing you really need to talk about during like a combat or something we can talk rules but at the end of the day i am willing to change rules if i think what you say makes sense but usually not tell a break or after the session to not hold up game time. 3. Try your best to make sessions. Hey I know real life comes up and shit happens but please let me know if your going to miss a session let me know in advanced if possible. Again I know shit happens I am lose on this for good reasons but if it happens a lot you will be kicked. 4. No Underdark races. For lore reasons there are no underdark races as current pc options. 5. Don't Impose on others to much. Listen we are all here to have fun if you are ruining other peoples fun by telling them what to do or taking away their agency to often I will kick you. 6. Wood elfs are ultra rare if you want to play one and be from the wood elf area you will have to colab with another of my players to make it make sense that your now outside your homelands. I rarely will accept them as a player race currently. application process. Character Name: Character Race: Character Class: Character Backstory:
