Hello all I'm looking for adventurers to join me in my epic world of Argemontus, the world itself is a home-brew with two major continents that are densely populated, Athanos and Geropery, with a third major continent with no known life on it commonly called the frozen wasteland and not much about it is known. The type of players I am looking for is those, that are looking to fully delve into their character and really get into the world exploring all that it has to offer. And does it have to offer allot, a custom pantheon list, cities and nations with backgrounds. The world will pit you into life choices of what is morally right or wrong, you find yourself in a situation that world is going though a totally upheaval of military and political power. Trade has been disturbed in several towns and major cities, people have become scared to travel far from home unless the most dire situation arise. I am looking for players to join I prefer to have a party between 4 and 6 players, I would be willing to go up to a party of 8 if the players are familiar with each other. In order to be consider, please send me a private message with your desire characters' background story. I am looking more then class or race what you would like your character to do with their life, or his or her reasoning for adventuring is it to achieve greatness in battle, to redeemed yourself from a past deed, to solve a mysterious question in your life all it is all possible, or one of the hundred other possibilities. About myself as a DM I consider myself as a RAI ( Read As Intended) DM as that I follow the rules as I believe they are intended for, I try to take the most logical thought process as to why something would be a certain way in a magical world where dragons and dungeons live. I have play D&D 2E, 3.5E, and 5E, my current DM and campaign process is a weird hybrid of those three with terms of my homebrew monsters, magical items and personalize rules. My campaigns are generally a mix of 30% role-play, 40% combat, 15% politics, and 15% puzzle. Though to be honest those percents on role-play and combat flip back and forth depending on the party desires. I generally allow all printed material, I myself do have optional rules I follow and would be discussing in more details during session 0. Details about Gameplay I will be using shaped sheets as those the ones I am most used to, if any player would like to learn more with them in far as macros usage or other abilities it has I will be willing to assist you with learning it. I will be using dynamic lighting, and API scripts for traps, languages and playing music and sound effects to help create the mood. I personally enjoy recording and or streaming my sessions to help get more players interested in D&D. I understand if players do not feel comfortable with that and I would not want to bring a player in and not know that upfront and make them leave because of that. I have the LFG link here for those interested in looking at some examples of my variants and rules in the LFG post. Look forward to hearing from some of you!
