MM1 token art change

I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but when a MM1 monster entry is dragged to the game board the token art for some entries no longer matches the art displayed in the roll20 compendium (Noble and Commoner for example). This would be great if we now have more options for token art to change gender and race, but I see no way of actually selecting what art to use. Please advise if the art was deliberately changed, or if my compendium is glitched. And if this is deliberate, are we able to choose the token art?

AFAIK, the Compendium doesn't have any  art. Could it be that you had set up those NPCs with earlier in your campaign?
All of the monster entries have a linked token that uses the art from the book. It's the image on the token I'm talking about.
I think I just figured it out. It looks like for Tomb of Annihilation, the tokens for a number of humanoids have had the art updated to be specific to Chult. Because I loaded Tomb of Annihilation as my campaign (although my players won't get there for a quite a while), these tokens seem to now be the default. So does anyone know if there's a way to switch between the token art for the default MM1 tokens and the ToA tokens?

Ah, I see, I thought you were saying the SRD Compendium token (no art) didn't match the MM Compendium token (which does). Have you subsequently bought a module or add on which might have monsters that have the same name but different art?
Hi elttut, There is not currently a way to swap which artwork is used on a token that has been dragged in from the compendium- it is possible from the GM side, but the tokens are not set up as a rollable table entity innately. Some suggestions if you are wanting some variation: if you remove the journal entry from ToA you will be able to drag in the Monster Manual version. Alternatively, you could change the name of the ToA folk to something like "Commoner (Chult)" and then drag from the Monster Manual and that would keep both.
Hi Drespar, changing the name of the ToA tokens works! Thank you for the suggestion. Cheers, RT
@keithcurtis, yes this was the issue. Renaming the tokens from ToA worked, so the MM1 tokens drop with the normal art and I can also drop the ToA specific tokens with the revised art for that adventure.
