Hi, I'm a relatively new player to D&D, my only experiences so far are listening to a lot of podcasts of D&D stories and the BS that ensued, and playing a 3.5e campaign at my college. The IRL campaign doesn't met up that often, every two weeks, but it's how I have my lvl 4 sorcerer, who if any DM will allow it, I hope can be transferred to whatever game I end up in. I did take pictures of the character sheet in case anyone needs to see them. As for me while I still don't totally understand how the main stats work, I do understand how skill levels work. I am also open to 5e because I heard it's not that hard to transition to 5e from 3.5e as a new player. I did write a funny back story that involves evil animated pastries that tried to kill him (these dark animated pastries don't show up as magical until they're activated by attacking the person they're sent to kill, stabbed, or torn in half.) He's had a decent amount of experiences and is missing a finger (minus 1 dex) because of another party member rolling a 1 and the GM not wanting me to die so easily. (Because my character is gay I then said OOC "damnit I was supposed to save that for my character's boyfriend) He also insists on opening any and all treasure chests with either mage hand or unseen servant to avoid more mimic incidents. Edit: I forgot to add that I can play on Wednesdays, Fridays, and most Saturdays. Also note that due to me having to return to my house on Friday, I won't be able to have internet this Friday or Saturday due to electrical issues.
