Experienced D&D DM/player looking for group

Hi.
I was DM and player "back in the AD&D and 2e days". 25 years later I've re-found the excitment of D&D and been running live 5e sessions for almost 2 years with my teen children and friends. Started a roll20 Strahd campaign with them.
I'm looking for an "older" group and either DM or a player (or mixed ages) to campaign with.

I'm English but live in "Europe"  GMT+1.  Due to work only Saturday or Sunday evenings.

I'm pretty open-minded about classes, campaigns/modules. I think Roll20 is a great system, and as a DM I appreciate the amount of work saved!   I've run Starter Set Princes of the Apocalypse and Strahd.
If interested in Pathfinder please take a look and let me know.

I got as far as buying the Pathfinder Core and Advanced rulebooks and looking at some youtube clips. I found the char sheet etc a little daunting, although there are many interesting depths in Pathfinder compared with 5e. Sure, it could be interesting.
I even started creating a module in Roll20 (first part of Rise of the Runelords) but it too so much time. I see there's an adventure path coming on Roll20 soon.

Pathfinder is open source, except its AP. Here is a link to a srd with everything you need. look it over and if suites  you email me your discord name. https://www.d20pfsrd.com/
Can you tell me a bit about your group? how many, age-range, usual running times?  Is there an ongoing campaign, levels? Is it run in Roll20 with sound/video in discord?  I'm potentially interested. Sorry, just being a bit careful...
how many:  5 players after one leaves because of work (was stated in link)
age-range: 18 and up no kids I myself is 39
usual running times: Sat 5pm cdt to 10pm-11pm cdt (was stated in link)
Is there an ongoing campaign: Yes been 2 months sense we started this group (was stated in link)
levels: lvl 2 but close to gain lvl 3 (was stated in link)
Is it run in Roll20 with sound/video in discord: Just voice using discord and using roll20 for maps.
Thanks. Sounds great, and I'd live to get involved ... but the time difference is a big issue
5pm cdt is like 11 pm over here and running till 4-5 am every week will be too tough for my old bones (I'm 50)

I'll think a bit and let you know for sure, but my answer will probably have to be no.

Hi, a long term dnd group me and a bunch of friends were apart of recently lost its dm. Some of us have gone out seperate ways, but a few of us dont want to let go of our characters. Would you be interested in running a campaign with our lvl 7 charactets?

We were running a pretty heavy rp campaign, but we had lots of goofiness and combat too. As long as we can keep some of the key components of our backstories we'd be happy to adapt to whatever setting you want to run us in. At 22 I'm the youngest of us.

edit: going to bed now ill reply to you as soon as possible.
Hi Jesse. what timezone are you in?  I'm in Europe GMT+1 and am only looking for times saturday/sunday between 5pm-9pm (that's around 11am cdt start)?  The group I'm running live are level 9, so around level 7 would be ok.

As I have a stressful (engineering consultant) job mån-fre I would look to run a prebuilt Roll20 Campaign. If its one I've already run before it will go faster, otherwise I'll need a few weeks to prepare. What 5e campaingns have you done or have good knowledge about already (so that these can be discounted).

Pacific standard time, so 5-9pm comes out to like 10am-2pm for me which totally works.

Im totally okay with that, as long as your okay with doing a little homebrew for our back stories and stuff. I've played the first half of philandelver and a little of the tomb of annhilation.

edit: one of the other guys has only played tomb of horrors, and the other one has similiar experiences to me.
ok. I'll get in touch tonight and send my discord id so that we can chat a bit.  around 10pm CET (GMT+1).

Hey good times
Are you still looking for players?
for your information i am also in the GMT+1 timezone and i have been playing 5e for about a year now mostly homebrew stuff
Have you considered going back to the core of the game and DM'ing a D&D 3.5 Game? It may be more difficult, but the rewards are great :)

I play AD&D 2e in this day & age, on Roll20 with a range of ages (b.1975 here). Some of the fellow players are GMT and GMT+1. It's afternoon USA times for me. The bad news is it is on Mondays-or-Tuesdays, so, a weekday game that probably wouldn't fit your play schedule.

Happy adventuring on the group that is forming!
Hi. I have sent a PM to you :-)

want some good old dnd fun on friday nights?

https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/109418/friday-n...
thanks for the offer, but Fridays nights I run my live D&D party. I've found a great group of like-minded D&D nerds to play with, so I'm fine for now!
