Possible Mage the Awakening game

I'm rolling the idea around of a Mage the Awakening game and wanted to see who might be interested. Yes, I have a lot of experience with Mage the Ascension as well. And I started WoD games when Vampire the Masquerade came out. So you can see I have been at this a while. For now I want to see what the interest would be in such a game.

I would definitely be interested in playing a mage game! I have not gotten a chance to play Mage before though, either new or old.

I was thinking about a Sun or Tues game possibly at this point in time, although at what time I'm not sure. I'd want one of each Path. As for the Orders it's optional, although I couldn't take any Banishers or Seers given that would run counter to group dynamics. Newbies would be welcome for sure, as long as you would be willing to read up on your character details, commonly used rules, etc. I basically do not want to have to spoon feed any newbies, and I wouldn't expect any of the other players to have to take that responsibility. So if you're willing to put the time and effort in to learn how to play in this system than you are welcome.

I've been looking for a nWoD game for a while! I'd like to ask to be allowed to join if you haven't maxed out your quota of players yet :) I haven't played it before but I do have the book...

I'm thinking earlier evening for the game, maybe about 6 Pacific time, or a little earlier. I am open to requests. Also, I would like to see some character concepts before picking people. I want at least one of each Path. And it seems we already have a Mastigos chosen.

Erm, I would love to go with Thyrsus too, a neologist urban artist is the concept, the renewal of urban and industrial landscapes, etc.

Well I'm good for Monday/Tuesday. As for characters...well in the name of variety I'll be the guy who plays the Moros who used to be a big game hunter. If we're also choosing Orders, I'm going to go with the Adamantine Arrow.

Good timing Karasu, I was just about to post it. Since I have the Chicago book for WoD I thought I would use that. I am originally from SoCal myself, but I thought this could be interesting.

Chicago and the whole Celestial Flange crazyness and Baseball inspired cabals and all? Man that city council need seriously be purged and all the cabals banished or dissolved... Are you sure?

I know little about the new mage and I know Chicago as the bug city :). It is fine by me, but I would play some migrant and recent arrival for sure to RP my lack of knowledge better :).

Artists usually move around a lot and a neocologist more even. The shadow always make the neocologist move around to solve the issues between both worlds

I have a character in mind now. Mastigos that is a member of the Guardians of the Veil. Eccentric Stock Broker, has money but doesn't act like people expect him to.

Are you sure? Yep, I'm sure. :) I'm not too focused on the Celestial Flange business though. Sean has spoken to me behind-the scenes about his character and given me some more details so he's in. That leaves room for another 4 players. I still want one from each Path. I am looking at Sunday for the game day and 6pm Pacific time, with possible willingness to start 1-2 hour earlier if there is too much conflict for time. Okay, it is going to be about midnight where I live (I am in GMT-2, GMT-3 when Daylight saving period is over) and you are scheduling GMT -8 time, just to keep it clear to any eventual non american/canadian player.  BTW I had sent Anna Colins' background. Once you give me the green light and the list of NO's (about which books you aren't using and other related things) I am going to send her sheet to you

As an update, these characters are fresh from their training with their respective Orders. For some of you that could've been a few years, to others only a few months. Keep this in mind. Also, you might want to share your contact info with the others so you can coordinate any possible shared merits and such.

Just a check: Which day would be better for everyone: Sun. or Tues.? On Sun. I could start in the morning if need be. On Tues. I would be able to start at about 4pm at the earliest. Yes, this is all based on GMT -8 time.

I'd be interested in playing if you have room. It seems you have one of every Path. Would you let someone "double-up" on a Path? I've never played and have only read Mage the Ascension. I just downloaded Mage the Awakening, though. Plan to start reading it tonight and I pick up on games fairly quickly.   Thanks, Coyotekin. Let me know.  Z 

Also, if I was invited to play, Sunday would work for me. I'm currently in a game of Dungeon World on Tuesdays, so couldn't do that. I'm also in the Central Time Zone. 

Tuesday works great for me, but I can also swing sunday if need be.

Tuesday is a great day to me. Sunday I run my regular face to face games (it is hard to be an Earthdawn and DC Adventures GM with a group which throws curve balls all the time)

I can work Sunday almost any time within reason. Tuesday would have to be after 5:30pm GMT-7.
