Im interested, but my background in nWoD is not huge. I did almost play a game of werewolfs set in northern Canada before the game flaked, also ive played Genius the Transgression, which is based on nWoD. Besides that ive been playing 40kRPGs for about 6 years, GMing a bit. The bits i tend to find the most fun in games are Investigations, Basebuilding, Special weapons and tactics and managing a small organisation. But ofcourse im not here to just do the same thing ive been doing forever, i like new things too. One of my favourit games is The Secret World, (a mix of Delta Green and nWoD) so i'll probably make my character in that vien. But before all of this I'd like to get an idea of the tone of the campaign if thats ok? Character: I like to play British characters because it comes naturally to me living in the UK. The character ive had in my mind for a year or so is Robert Foil. Consepts for characters tend to be like a venn diagram that fades in and out. But the more constant aspects of Foil is that he is a warrior and mostly neutral to the worlds politics. He is intently focussed on remaining unbiased and neutral nomatter who hes worked for in the past, viewing the petty differences between employers as a lack of intellegence and trying to raise above them personally. He views combat as a more lethal form of blood sport, something which he tries to get every advantage in. Its not that he doesnt belive in good, it is actually his belief in good that is so strong that it drives him to be ever more unentangled by what he does. "Being neutral does not mean doing nothing." Theres another module to Foil that i would like to use if its ok with you. Having spent his younger years as a Sergeant in the Royal Marines, he then left to start his own private security company. Named, Robert Foil Executive Outcomes, the small organisation has made him quite wealthy, which he has since given over managment of and now sits as a figurehead along with several shadowy partners. He has enough money to do whatever he wants, but chooses to live an ascetic life with little luxury, he holds this as 'his' way of life. He is brutally practical and uses the old fear, that of big burly men tearing tissue and snaping sinew. He views enemies weaknesses as nothing
more than toys. He uses psychological warfare to manouever his opponent
around the map. His personal warfare style is high-speed low-drag and his buisness doctrine, if it can be called that, revolves around the use and application of 'Attention'. Since he retired from Executive Outcomes he has had time to research his ancestry and get his genome sequinced. Through this technical marvel he has glimsed the truth, that his family line goes back to a group of witch hunters. It is this subject now, that he spends most of his time and his deep pockets. He has an incomplete picture of the truth, but intends to find his relatives who have moved to the Americas.
