dragons hoard Creature & monster tokens open attack rolls?

I'm getting ready to start the hoard of the dragon queen campaign, My problem is that any of actions on a monster on a monster roll only to gm and have been unable to find any option to make it roll so the player can see it as well, is there a quick fix to this? ex- on the kobold character sheet under actions I click Dagger(melee). , it will do the roll and damage but only shows up (to gm) in the chat box

I believe you can set that in the Game Settings for your game, under the Character Sheet Settings:

Actually, I think that only adjusts future created characters. I think you might be in the realm of manual changes here. =( It could be done with an API script, but that would require a Pro subscription. I'm sorry. =(

Using the info that The Aaron posted, you can use the Experimental Feature in game to apply these default settings to all of your already existing characters. Make sure you have selected the Whisper Roll setting you want and saved it on the Game Settings page (my recommendation is Toggle), then make sure you save the settings. Now log in to your game, and follow the directions here to update all characters in your game. https://wiki.roll20.net/Game_Settings_Page#Applyin...

Also, if you only wish to adjust a single creature, on their character sheet toggle the Gear icon to take you to the Options page. Under General Options, you should see a drop down for Whisper Rolls to GM. You can adjust your single character to handle whispers however you like from here.

Oh! I was only able to get that to turn whispering on, not turn it off.

The Aaron said: Oh! I was only able to get that to turn whispering on, not turn it off. I've had it both fail and work, specifically for this setting in a couple of real games I'm running. When it failed, I'm pretty sure it was because I already had the game open in another window before saving the default settings. So my best recommendation is to get your settings saved exactly as wanted before launching into the game and applying the settings. That said . . . as an experimental feature, this always feels a bit finicky at best, so results I suppose may vary? To OP, perhaps create a second game as a test case to get comfortable with the process, and that way if anything goes wrong you won't mess up the game you are prepping to run.
I was able to find the option to change it manually on the character sheets thank you.
