Detailed description of the problem I don't know if this qualifies as a bug , but it seems unintended, as player tokens could get lost. The wiki explains that a token controlled by a player will always be visible to that player, even when under Basic Fog of War: The Fog of War will cover up anything on the tabletop, including all tokens, maps, text, and drawings. The only exception is that a player can see any token that he or she has control over. This prevents players from accidentally moving their tokens into a location beneath the fog where only the GM could recover them. Instead the token is hidden by Fog of War (including nameplate, bars, and auras), although it can still be selected and moved by the player. When selected, the player can't see what token it is without moving it to a revealed area (or checking the settings if they have access to do that). Purportedly, turning on "Has Sight" in the Advanced Token Settings under "Emit Light" fixes this issue, even in Basic FoW, except as a Free member, I don't have access to that setting. Pure speculation: this seems like behavior that existed but was broken with the addition of AFoW. (Or the wiki just needs adjusted to make that part clear.) Example, with screenshots: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/6200068/how-to-m... Minimum number of steps to reproduce the problem Create a page. Enable Fog of War. Reveal some area. Create a token. Assign token to player (or yourself, as a player). Log in as player (or Re-Join as Player). Move token around.
