Sorry. I'm explicitely 7th Sea, Exalted, and Legend of the Five Rings (Starting to experiment with 2d20 Conan as well, but that's why the tag said L5R) when it comes to fantasy for a reason. It's to try to get away from the Murderhobos. You see, I am from the old school. I grew up with O/AD&D when there was actually Role Playing in Role Playing Games (Granted most of it was to avoid having to avoid using the Battle Chart and THAC0 back then). Some of my favorite AD&D modules were Dragonlance, where you'd have to think logically as well as swing or shoot weapon at X. Seems like nowadays, every PF/D&D game draws people want to shoot first, shoot again, shoot some more, empty their arrow quiver and grab their spare, empty that too, and when the area looks like 40k space orks finally got enough Dakka, finally think to ask a question. While yes, that's good for, say, emptying the local ruins of monsters for the townsfolks, that's not too good for trying to find, say, a kidnapped loved one before they can be sacrificed to bring evil god X into the world or back from the dead... when you'd want to leave one enemy alive to interrogate to find out if the Ritual's started, where it's happening, and where said loved one is being held.
