First time GM question

Sorry but this will be an obvious one. First time GM here, and folk seem to be able to join my campaign without me approving them first. I'd like to have say over who joins, but how do I set that option?

How are they joining your campaign, Paul?
Well that's my question actually. I included a link to the campaign in a LFG thread, but the campaign now has four members, and I have not approved any of them. People are people I guess but when I've joined campaigns, it's required GM approval.
I believe its a setting to change in your campaign. Ill look it up in a second.

Alright, so what I think it is, you CANNOT post the link like that or else people use it as an invitation. Unless you are a supporter level ($5 a month), which you then can have a public page, which DOESNT make them players, but people can look at the details. So basically, remove them from your campaign and delete that post. Only give it to people you want.

Paul, as Jake stated, when you hand out a join link anyone can use it. However, on your Campaign Details page you can hover over a person's avatar and kick them from the campaign. This will also invalidate any current join links.
Well that explains that. Thanks much y'all
The link is the invite. Next time, just write the LFG posting and ask them to PM you so you can get to know them first. Meet in a neutral spot to ward off the crazies.

You can always clone your campaign except the players then let that board be your meet and greet place.

There is an invite link and a lfg link.. Make sure you send the right one. (The lfg link has lfg in the path, the invite link is randomized)
