LFG for D&D 5e, fairly experienced DM/Player looking to play in a group

Hey all! First off thank you for taking the time to read this, second off I hope we click! I am an old man (34) and I have been playing since I was 10 (24yrs roughly). I have been a DM pretty solidly for the last 15 years, I have run multiple campaigns from a start to a good finish point, some from level 1-20 and others to the mid teen range. I currently run a game on Saturday that is streamed and videoed with some IRL friends and some gaming friends (It has been going strong for about 8 months now). I am looking to be a player! I enjoy a good mix of everything, I am not super picky as long as everyone has fun! It is a game after all, yes I can play in more serious campaigns as long as they are still entertaining. I usually play rogue or fighter types, I rarely get to play casters anymore but may want to, Ya never know! I make fairly long backstories if its fitting to the group, I do kind of power-build (I am sorry, just how I like the game) I do not flaunt power-building over any other players or try to outshine them really, its more about role-play than roll-play! I have two friends that may also be interest, One is a magnificent role-player and can do great voice acting as well, me, not so much, but I try! The other is a bit shy but knows the rules and the game fairly well. I am good pretty much any day except Wednesday-Saturday-Sunday. Evenings are best for me and I am in EST. Here is a link to the stream, I am the DM the streamer is Fox, the one that's shy but knows the rules (yes seems counter intuitive to be shy and stream), the Third is the Captain in my game (he was also the DM in some of the other videos "Castelia" so you can see how he is at improve basically. The videos are all there for anyone who cares to watch the whole thing or to see how we try as players. If you do not want to watch them I do not blame you at all! Saturday is off limits, that's when I run my game :( I am good for most days except Wednesday-Saturday-Sunday.

How tolerant of a new DM are you?&nbsp; I've been thinking about starting a group but I'm like the freshest, most virginal DM candidate you'll find.&nbsp; :D

Hey dude I've just posted . I want to run a game for dms....so they have a chance to play. It will be about once every 2/3 weeks. Have a look. I play with lots of states based players at the moment and I'm pretty flexible with times. If not good luck finding something!

Sykoh, what race and class are you thinking of playing, if I may inquire?

I would be interested in doing this. &nbsp;I am in the process of porting a game to 5e. &nbsp;If you send me a PM with your Discord we can talk. &nbsp;I insist on talking to all the people I GM for first, I need to make sure we are a good fit as a group.

It is a great experience! Not for everyone, but how else can you play all races and classes in any combo you want! lol Jesse R., Very tolerant, when I first started DMing I was HORRIBAD! So I am fairly flexible. I will give you a warning, I would probably help out with rules from time to time I do that that on occasion, and knowing that you are a newer DM I would not be able to help myself :( Calandria C., Thank you I will look into it! Selene De'Brayvion, That depends on a lot of factors. What setting? How is magic in this world and a few others. However, I can say I have been thinking about playing some type of Elf/Half-Elf/Halfling and something like a Rogue AT, or and Arcane caster of some type, Probably Sorcerer. I guess I should have asked, what timezone and times on your open days are you available?

I guess I should have probably put that info in the original post, so I will do that, nice catch. I am EST and for times that are good hmm usually later in the day from like 6pm-10pm or so.
