NEW PLAYERS WELCOME! - **What is it?** Mouse Guard is a pseudo-medieval setting about an order of anthropomorphic mouse rangers and knights. Join the Mouse Guard and defend the Mouse Territories against predators and dangers, in this roleplaying game based on the acclaimed Mouse Guard comic book series! Players form their own Mouse Guard patrol and attempt to complete missions while the Game Master takes on the roles of the weather, animals, foes, and the wilderness, all trying to thwart the fearless or fearful mice. This game is not a game of stat building or mid-maxing/leveling experience. This is a game about enriching the world around you through play. If you are looking for a game like DnD or Pathfinder, this is **not** that game. - **About Me** A little about me.I have GM'd Mouse Guard several times in the past, and believe the rules are only a crutch. (IE: As a GM will sometimes go against the grain of what rules the book says to heighten the experience or make things make more sense). I love the graphic novel and will loosely follow some of the events that happened in them. If you are a player who has not read the graphic novels, don't worry. It doesn't matter. - **What I am looking for** I am looking for players who respect each other outside of the game. This game is for the fun of everyone at the table. Actions taken by other players in this game may not always be the way that YOU would want. I ask that everyone who plays can dictate between what is in and out of character. I will be using for first edition book, but if you have access to the second edition, that is perfectly acceptable. I am looking for players who want to play a little outside the box and really get into their character. In this game there are advantages to playing to your characters flaws and character traits for rewards.
