Our group has an opening in our Friday night 5e campaign. The the concept is that players are all playing themselves after they have been sucked into a fantasy world, after their real life GM gets his wish granted by ancient magic dice. Now they have survive as their old GM has god like powers now. Now the new player might actually have to make a character who is local to this fantasy world but I am open discussing the issue.
