Cannot Clear Macro from Quick Bar

I dragged/dropped Initiative from a OGL character sheet into the Macro Quick Bar and now, for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to remove it.

Try dragging them "out" of the bar (up for example)

I see when I hover my mouse over the toolbar, that there is a darker grey to the right that I can use to move it left/right.  However, it will not allow me to drag it 'out' of the bar.

Yes, it seems to not allow you to drag it "out", but do it up (quite "far") and release the mouse button, it should delete the shorcut from the macro bar (gif below, click to watch it):
