Dnd 5e Saturday game We desperately need a cleric

Hi there. Ive been looking for another player for awhile now. However i realized that we definitely need a cleric for whats coming next. The party is level 7 going into the underdark and fighting shit like mind flayers. So we need a cleric. The game starts at 7 pm est on saturdays and goes till about midnight or earlier.  THe party includes A dragonborn barbarian a half elf bard a human wizard a human fighter a human monk/wizard Im really only looking for a cleric because we need one. While the bard can heal bards are no replacements for clerics. Your character must have a reason to be in the underdark because well they are right now in the underdark

I'm willing to be your Cleric if you are willing to have me. I have experience with DMing/GMing for over a year now and really want to experience being a PC. I can create the character pretty quickly and have it ready by tonight to join the game. Probably a High Elf, Cleric with a Background of Acolyte. Who was sent to the underdark by his religious leader to find out what exactly is happening down there and why when others have been sent down to study the underdark, they were never heard from again. I can make something better up if needed, just trying to make it simple. Please let me know! Thank you.
