Hey, my name's Marcel and I'm a 31y/o middle school teacher from Germany.
I'd very much like to find a group to play D&D 5E over
Roll20 as I'm going to move to my place of work and it
seems there are no pen&paper, let alone any D&D players in this
city.
I speak English (fluent - C1/C2) and German (native
speaker) but I'm not really sure how well I'm versed in fantasy
roleplaying terms, yet. I understand everything perfectly fine, though,
and am able to read all the D&D 5E publications without a problem.
D&D 5E isn't the first pen&paper roleplaying game
I've played (3.5E, 4E, Shadowrun, 7th Sea, AFMBE) ... although I didn't
really play much pen&paper at all for the last 5-10 years or so.
Picked it up again recently, when I had a few friends of mine go through
LMoP with me as their DM.
As a player, I'm particularly looking for a group that's
running lots of one-shots or shorter "mini" campaigns as I can't truly
commit to big overarching campaigns this year because of school holidays
during which I leave the country (6 weeks during summer; 3 weeks during
winter). However I should be able to join one session a week or at
least every other week while not on holiday.
My time zone is GMT +1 and I can play between 6 pm to 12 am (Sun.-Thu.) and 6 pm to 2 am (Fri.+Sat.). Feel free to contact me :) I'm looking forward to any group willing to give me a shot. Cheers, Marcel
