Hello, I'm Andrew and I'm a DM with about five years of experience, and I'm coming on 2000 hours spent on roll20. I'm looking to start a new campaign that will be run on Wednesdays nights at 7pm est every week. This game will be done through discord and roll20, voice is required and video is recommended!(I'll probably use a webcam and invite anyone else who wants to, but there's no pressure if you can't or don't own one.) This will be a long-term campaign that I see lasting at least a few months, if not a year or more. To speak a bit to my DM style I like to keep a healthy balance of exploration/combat/skill challenges with plenty of roleplaying sprinkled throughout all encounters and social/political scenes. I like my players to have a lot of agency in the world and impact on the setting, and adore player backstories that contribute to the setting. To speak about myself a bit personally, I'm a 20 year old guy in college with a huge passion for D&D and gaming in general, and I love the narrative building and the mix of silliness-and-seriousness you can find in games like D&D. I'm looking for players that can attend reliably over everything else, players that are passionate about the characters they're bringing to the table, and players that acknowledge fun at the (virtual)table is the #1 priority. I have no problem teaching new players as long as they're willing to learn and do a bit of the homework themselves, and I always encourage a good mix of personalities at the table. The campaign will start at level 1 and likely use Milestone leveling or a similar variant. The first session is planned for 4/18(next week) and for the rest of this week until then I would love to discuss character ideas, answer questions, and forge some bonds between characters until then. If you're interested in joining my campaign please send me a private message here on roll20 with a bit of bio about yourself, your experience with RPGs and D&D, and any possible character ideas you might have(preferably more than just a sentence or two). Thanks for your time! I look forward to meeting all of you!
