None of my players can see using Dynamic Lighting.

Whenever we go to start the campaign my players can only see the fog of war. I could reveal areas using the command but their own dynamic lighting wasn't lighting like it should be. Whenever I used ctrl+L to see what my players could see, it seem to work correctly. I looked into many threads and I am curious if its just my inability to know what I am doing or if something is not working the way it should be.

A few things to check: 1 - Make sure each player char is assigned to a token. Those tokens need to have the "has sight" option checked. 2 - Make sure that any graphics with light you want them all to see have "all players see light" checked. 3 - Make sure the light generators are on layers the players can see
I have the light set to come from their own tokens which they have control and as do I. I have all of that checked marked but whenever I join as a player its completely blank.

When you switch to Player Mode, unless you designate a token to be under your specific control, you won't see anything on the screen. In player mode, you're temporarily losing all your GM privileges, so you can only see/control what is designated for you to use.
Yeah I did that too but I think I solved my problems. I had to update the tokens I think because i made the map then made a dynamic lighting so I just replaced all of the player tokens and it seems to me they can all see now.
Are you using dynamic lighting and fog of war at the same time?

I was yes. It said one would not effect the other but I still turned it off.

Brandon V. said: I was yes. It said one would not effect the other but I still turned it off. They technically don't affect each other, but fog of war is cast on top of dynamic lighting. If you don't clear the fog of an area where you want to see the dynamic lighting, you still won't see anything as a player. Basically, you want to use the two on the same page if you want to prevent players from using their token as a flashlight to light up areas of the map they're not suppose to be in just yet.
Oh ok. That makes much more sense. Thank you for shedding light on the situation.

BTW, Brandon , did you know your avatar image is broken? (Sometimes people are using a cached version of their image).
I did not. I shall fix that.
