Google Hangout layout

I don't know if this has been addressed before but I find the Roll20 hangout layout a bit intrusive. What I mean is, in addition to the normal Roll20 right pane, Hangout adds the camera image pane below and its own menu on the left leaving too little space for maps and some handouts. Is there any way to change the hangout layout? This is probably something done in the Hangout settings but since I didn't find any options to change the layout I was wondering if anyone did.

Right now there is no way to change the Hangout layout. The best you can do is make sure the Google+ Hangout chat is closed and you can shrink the left shortcut bar to Icons only rather than full application names. I do personally have some requests out to the Hangout API team to give us API developers at least some options for scaling/moving the Hangout bits but right now apps only have access to the main area the app itself lives in.
