Shadow Runner Seeks Chummers

I want in a Shadowrun game. I signed up for a Shadowrun months ago, got accepted, had too much on my plate and had to quit. By which I mean booted. And I can't get back into the game or remember what exactly it was called. Or who was running it. If you remember me, and would let me back in, great. Or if we've never met, but you have a Shadowrun game, let me know.
Any shadowrun is good by me!!!
I'm only familiar with 4th edition mechanics.
If it is a good time, I would love to play Shadowrun. I would even consider to run a few stories as a co-storyteller.
I can also be storyteller if need be.
I could picture a game with a pool of characters/shadowrunners having episodic sessions of small works and assignments with players who acting as storytellers at the moment having their characters occupied with some other jobs and life events.
I'd like to join if it's on the weekend or Monday.
I would love to play in any era/edition.
Guess we can forge a new game. I say a rotating series of storytellers who run individual missions, very episodic. Makes it easy for people to drop in or out. 4th edition. I'll volunteer for main storyteller. How about we set a day and and a time period. Me, I'm free Mondays, Wednesdays, or Sundays. midday or afternoon, American time.
I can do Sundays from the above list, GMT but good at your time of the day. Maybe I can't join weekly but biweekly, but that is why I think an episodic game is works great with Shadowrun. I would love to try to run a few game too. One more question we can ask now: the main setting/city (or cities) of the game. Could help the storytellers to make maps, main npcs, etc. If episodic game, it would be awesome to make link through the familiar places and people for the characters.
Well Sunday would be good for me too, I live on PST so time set up could be a bother. The idea of rotating storyteller and episodic games sounds good with me. Also this will be my first Shadowrun game but I have all the PDFs and stuff for 4th edition.
I like Seattle for games. I've also had people travel from time to time, for example to New Orleans, which I infested with zombies. And as far as rules went, given that character creation is shadowrun is difficult for people who aren't familiar with the rules, and easily broken for those that are, how would you feel about me porting the entire thing over to FATE, cutting the complication in half.
Idea for Karma system. You come up with up to 10 adjectives to describe your character. Each session, you earn 1 karma for each adjective you carry out. If you play an adjective to your serious detriment, you can earn up to 5 karma. If an attribute reflects negative qualities you recieved BP for, you have to roleplay those more than a little bit. Examples: My stereotypical troll gunman is aggressive, trigger-happy, greedy, stupid, knows his guns, on steroids, and so on.
I am absolutely not familiar with Fate system, has been playing 2nd SR a little, 3rd, and a little 4th edition. I would prefer 4th edition, but can do the Fate system but can't run any game until I get familiar with it. I like the Karma system though not sure if you want to use it to Fate or 4th edition but I guess it could be work in any, Seatle is good and you could move the game other places occasionally, like the other side of the Pacific. If I would have to pick though I would go an European city, or even a South American, or Asian. Obviously I am more familiar with EU cities, and I do like the less traditional selection. But again, Seattle is very well described, and it is a port centre and a great hub of trade :). I will set up a game in the meantime, DMs right can be transferred anyway.
Here is it, some basics done there and we could use the game boards to specify the details. Let me know if it's not working... https://app.roll20.net/join/44364/dLwtpg
Is this still a thing? I've recently discovered Shadowrun fourth ed and would love to give it a try. I'm absolutely new, though. I could do Sundays, and I live in PST as well.
It's still a thing. Haven't had a session yet, but probably will this weekend.
