new, ongoing campaign would be ideal. battle maps are cool
I am in about week 12 of my first campaign, looking to start a second. never played before, but love fantasy and systems.
i am ok with adult themes, outside of rape, even in fantasy there is
*rarely* a good reason for it story reason. if you use it, there better
be a dang good reason for it, immediately apparent, and beyond
sparingly.
i prefer a good/neutral group (someone stealing a coin or two from
players is fine, stealing my magic weapon/necklace/etc to pawn however
is not cool). attacking each other for fun (outside of like a single
attack to get someone to snap out of things) isnt fun either.
homebrew is fine, but id prefer to know ahead of time, what is
homebrew'ed. if you are going to make things more restrictive, i want to
know upfront so i can plot my character out better. (ive had DMs say
that XYZ schools work, while ABC school dont, which can entirely make
certain classes useless. or they use the variant strx5 is carry
capacity, but still count your gear, making many classes impossible to
play). if you think your odd rule isgoing to restrict a player let me
know ahead of time, so i dont build a completely useless character!
if DM is out to kill us, let me know. it isnt fun to be lvl 2 and run into a full stat ancient dragon family reunion.
(i am an accountant, so if you decide to change a rule, let me know.
otherwise ill bug you after the session (on small things), or ask in
middle of session if i feel it is a big thing.
