[LFP] Vampire The Requiem, Mondays GMT+1 4-8pm (absolute beginners welcome)

Hi there,  We're in the process of setting up a Vampire The Requiem (1st edition with some of the rule updates from 2nd edition NOTE: THIS IS NOT VAMPIRE THE MASQUERADE/OLD WORLD OF DARKNESS) game on Monday afternoon/evenings 4pm British time. This is the 2nd of 2 groups I'll be running in the same setting and we're looking for 1 or 2 more players to complete the coterie. We're playing in the Chicago WoD setting based a number of years after the source books and have a large number of NPC's (well into several hundred characters) and locations crafted specifically for the game. If you're into a varied WoD game or game in general with a wide scope of roleplay and storylines and combat then this may be the game for you. This is open to absolute newcomers to the system as it's a very easy system to learn, the only requirements are that you're dedicated and will turn up to the regular games. Games will be run weekly. I feel I should point out as this is a very D&D heavy community that if you're looking for grid based miniature combat then this likely isn't the system for you, whilst there will be combat and visual aids such as maps and character tokens for ease in describing scenes the game isn't really built in the same way as D&D. For people who are interested please fill out the form below: Name: Age: Location & Timezone: Experience with TRPG's in general: Experience with WoD/VtR: What type of vampire you'd like to play (if you're unfamiliar with the system I'm happy for you to use movie/literature examples): Any other info you feel is relevant: Note, I'm also running a game in the same setting on Friday nights starting between 5-6pm EST that has 3 players already. Though we're not actively seeking players I'm open to potentially one more character if the concept fits. If you would like to potentially join this game please make this obvious in your application. Hope to hear from you soon, Rob.

As I stated in the OP this is Vampire the Requiem, not Vampire the Masquerade.
i have seen both henley played masquerade while mathasgames played requiem
colm d. said: i have seen both henley played masquerade while mathasgames played requiem Yes, but you want to play a Vampire clan from Masquerade, not Requiem, hence my reply.
Name: Harlock Age:33 Location/time zone: U.S., Texas, Central Experience with TRPG's: mild to educated Have run D&D 3.5 and 4 campaigns and have for the past year and a half been playing a Warhammer 40k: Deathwatch campaign Experience with WoD: Little played the Vampire: the masquerade on pc not too long ago so im familiar with the world.  I also read the WoD core book but that was probably the old version. With some guidance I can look up the right books online and read them. What type of Vampire you'd like to play as: Very interesting.  Im on the fence between a high lord esque type that's Ventrue, a real smug and arrogant type,  or a shadowy Mekhet that can be deceptive but also sincere and truly eager to help the downtrodden
mathasgames must have changed the rules then
Mods can close this now, we have the players we need. Thanks to everybody who applied.
