I'm interested, if you're willing to take people that haven't played VtR before. Name: Dust Age: 19 Experience: None Character idea: The idea for this character is essentially to be a doctor with a gun. Not a crack shot, just enough to defend himself. He'd be a Mekhet Carthian, with the Night Doctor merit, among other merits towards that end. The end goal would be to become a Qedeshah himself, which requires him to get to Blood Potency 4, and give up his ability to embrace and create ghouls in the process, to be able to heal with his bite. Gregory Michaelson, 25 years old, abused first-gen Eastern European immigrant youth by rich scam-artist father, Igor Michaelson, who had connections to the criminal underground and came into money after the collapse of the USSR, is a resident at a local hospital. His family moved to the USA when he was very young, where his abuse was discovered in time, and he was taken away by CPS. Years later, he is taking care of younger sister, Elana, after having become aware of her several years after having left his family behind. Joined up with revolutionary socialist groups in his youth, participated in movements like OWS, BLM, and almost left to help Rojava in Syria before finding out about Elana. Taught how to use a gun by revolutionary socialist groups. Second year of residency at a local hospital. Traumatic breakdown after losing first patient, a Carthian Qedeshah, Carrie, who was related to the elderly patient in life met him in the middle of the night at the patients grave, as he went there to beg at the grave for forgiveness, and took him in to a sanctuary for wayward kindred and other lost souls. There he was embraced by a strange but familiar older looking figure in the form of a Russian Orthodox, Vasilyevich, priest who knew the elder Mr. Michaelson in his younger years, and coincidentally happened to be a friend to Carrie, as the two walked similar paths in unlife. This man of faith, a Tismanu, gave Gregory the embrace, and the two who ran the haven underneath the Orthodox church did what they could to put his soul at ease, offering him a new chance at life, a way to help save those he could not as a mortal man. This was the way that Greg first started learning Eupraxia. It wasn't too long after he was embraced that Carrie called in some favors with the local Carthians, many of whom had experience in medically treating kindred (and many of whom seemed familiar to Greg, oddly enough). She effectively adopted him, and his sister too after some time, like Qedeshah do. She quickly became a parental figure to him, that neither he or his sister had ever had. She and other Carthians taught him to treat the injuries kindred had like he did people. He picked it up quickly and Carrie told him to get stronger so he could learn from her more powerful ways of helping people, to learn the healing arts of Embrocation, If he was willing to pay the price. He kept up appearances, offering to take up the night shift, still looking after Elana.
