i'm looking into hosting an ongoing 3.5 game on a week day, some time between 3-10pm est. it would be player's handbook only, as i've only DM'ed about 10 sessions. but i've never gotten any complaints! lol any takers? =D
it really depended on the group, because i can pretty much play any day between 3 and 10. i'm open to suggestions, and i'm aiming at sessions lasting about 2-3 hours.
I personally can play any day except Tuesday nights, preferably after 6:00PM GMT (-7) EDIT: I think my preferred day to play would be Wednesday or Thursday.

so what's everybody thinking about playing? i'm doing max HP, ability scores are 18, 16, 16, 14, 14, 12.
I'm not sure what you mean by max HP. I'm down with the abilities thing, but I'd rather play as vanilla as I could, to get a sense of the game.
well each class has a Hit Dice. i'll use a barbarian for example, who has a d12 Hit dice. say my constitution score is 16, so my modifier is +3. some DM's make you roll your hit dice each level to see how many hit points you gain. since i'm allowing max hit points, this barbarian would have 15 hit points. 12 from the hit dice + the constitution modifier.

Thanks for Letting me join the Game so we will be starting 6pm ( 5pm here ) on the 20th , Base Book stuff only, so what's everyone thinking of playing and how long have you been playing 3.5 or dnd in general, i started when i was about 14 now 22 so 7-8 years i wanna say. i can sometimes be a rules lawyer about stuff but if ya tell me to leave it alone i will.
Time works for me, so I'm in. I'm also a pretty long time player, same boat as Quin, 22 and been playing since High School. I'm going to try and play a Rogue or Bard, my favorite skill monkey classes.

I'm going to be playing a Half-Elf Ranger, and this is my first DnD game ever, so I will probably have a lot of questions.
i think tomorrow we'll work mostly on character creation, since we have a lot of newer players. if we have time, we can jump into the beginning of the story.
