The talk of the streets and taverns has all been about the so-called death curse: a wasting disease afflicting everyone who’s ever been raised from the dead. Victims grow thinner and weaker each day, slowly but steadily sliding toward the death they once denied. When they finally succumb, they can’t be raised—and neither can anyone else, regardless of whether they’ve ever received that miracle in the past. Temples and scholars of divine magic are at a loss to explain a curse that has affected the entire region, and possibly the entire world. The cause is a necromantic artifact called the Soulmonger, which is located somewhere in Chult, a mysterious peninsula far to the south, ringed with mountains and choked with rainforests. # General Info •Tuesday. We will try to make this as open world as possible. # About Me Heya! My name is David, but I go by Phoenix in all the gaming I’ve done. Pretty much since forever. I am a Human Resources Professional and deal with all types of people on a daily basis. The most fun and… inspiring personality types that I deal with always make it into my games one way or another. (usually the NPC I kill off. Is that horrible?). I love the story telling part of DnD, but I love the game as a whole including combat. I’ve played D&D for years and have DM’d a good while as well. I have a lot of Roll20 experience, and love to help out new players as well. # How to Apply Please reply on the application discussion below with the following information: •Race/Class •Short backstory idea (summarized) •Experience with D&D •Favorite play style (i.e., 50% Roleplay, 20% Exploring, 30% Combat - feel free to explain) •What times work best for you on this game day? •Do you accept the payment requirements for this game? •Any other questions or concerns?
