I seem to be experiencing a high amount of lag during all of my games in the last couple of weeks. entering lost damage, typing responses in chat, and even moving my tokens are all actions that are drastically delayed, (5-10 second delay) I was wondering if there was a solution to fix this?

You said this is happening during all of your games. How many different campaigns have you played in? Are they ones with a large chat log or a high number of map pages?

Yes large chat logs. And I am not the gm in them but i assume a large number of maps.

That could possibly be part of the problem. You can try creating an empty campaign of your own (click on "Virtual Tabletop" up at the top of the site and then click the blue "create new campaign" button) just to test if you're still getting lag issues.

Update: The GM cleared the campaign archive. The problem appears to be resolved but it is not certain if the archive was the source of the issue. If the problem returns please let us know.

moving my token and typing seems to have slowed back down again. but so far my macros remain instant. not nearly as bad. but its still very choppy

I have gone through that check list and made the adjusments suggested. My DM has Archived all of his maps except the one we are on, chat log cleared. my rolls seem to be instant for the moment. but moving my character is VERY lagged still

I've got a blank campaign I use for testing scripts and I noticed this last few weeks that doing a chat window command sometimes takes 3-5 second to popup, other times its right away. I have nothing in this campaign, although the chat log might be large since its always testing chat window stuff! :)

I am still experiencing this issue. I am running a game now and even with loads of maps archived and only 3 that we go to. with the dynamic lighting on my lag times are horrible. Makes it very difficult to target a token for adjustments. Any new ideas of what I should do would be great =)
