[HELP] SendChat() /w with /direct

Has anyone got a way to use a whisper in a /direct? I searched a bit and found some users wanting it and others saying you can't do it. Just wondering if anything new has happened to make this possible? I did notice a couple of very advanced users (John M and Alex L) develop API Command Parsing scripts, but they are fairly complex and haven't really looked at them yet.

Whisper /direct with the ability to make hypelinked API commands would be AMAZING. (AMAZING Riley... Really AMAZING!!)

Would return in whisper valid API commands in hyper links...

You could make drill down menu for API commands... it would be AMAZING (<-hint hint again.)

Funny thing is we had this a one point, would be nice to have something like <a command="!hello">hello<\a> and it would just send the command to chat.
