Pathfinder Community Sheet - "Show" Checkboxes in Various Sections

I've noticed that in the "Abilities" and "Equip" sections of the sheet there is a checkbox next to the word "Show" Now as the GM I assume I see all entries whether this is checked or not. But am I understanding this correctly? If this is not checked the player who is assigned the sheet won't see that entry? So for example I can write up a curse I want to inflict on them ahead of time and then toggle show once I curse them?

The Show checkbox on repeating rows are only used by the chat menu buttons.  So you can decide which of the repeating (spells, abilities, items, etc.) show in chat when you use the chat menu buttons found on the Buttons section just below the buffs/conditions.

Oh okay. Thanks Vince. That's a shame I guess I'll have to rely on GM Notes instead.
