How do you handle Star Trek Adventures Threat and Momentum?

Hello everyone I'm running a Star Trek Adventures game, and I am looking for ideas on how to handle Threat and Momentum in the game, for both individual players and the group pool.  Would using cards of some sort as "tokens" for the Threat and Momentum be a method anyone uses?  Or do you perhaps have another idea that you use or have seen used? Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for your time and reading
Cheers, not running Star Trek Adventures but Conan which uses the same mechanics. (Almost) I tried a couple of things. From Textfields on the map with the Numbers inside to Token and Card Decks. I ended up using the card decks for both momentum and doom and I am considering using them for Fortune Points too to have them visible all the time so my players don't forget they have them. I draw from both decks for momentum and doom so players can see the number. You could also make a field on the map to pool the token but I find this method easier on the eye. Everyone can see how much doom or momentum is available right away. Here is a screen:
