Hello to all looking for a game to play weekly, I am a DM who runs multiple games during the week and am looking to start a Westmarches community. I will be running the games for the first few weeks and am looking for other players and DM's to join me.
For those who do not know what a Westmarches style game is, it is a style of DND campaign that revolves around a single settlement in the wilderness surrounded by many dangers. Players get together and decide that they would like to play together at a given time and message one of the DM's in the community to see if they can have their session. The players and DM work out when they play, and they get together at the agreed time.
The advantage of a Westmarches game is that you can play any different campaign or adventure with a group of people like a normal game, but you are in a world shared by other DM's and parties and can cross over into their games and vice-versa.
Players will be allowed to have a maximum of three characters to use as they see fit so they can easily play with multiple groups and experience different classes and play styles. The character creation rules are simple, you may make any character up to level ten using published WotC material. Unearthed arcana will be permitted on review.
