I’m a GM with more than 20 years of gaming under my belt. I’m introducing my son and a few of his friends to D&D. I’m taking the Barrowmaze megadungeon and adapting it to 3.5 because I know that system well. We’re playing with multiple groups of players who drop in and out. Each session is short and has the players delving into the dungeon, exploring a little more and returning to town at the end of the session. We’d like to recruit some more heroes that would be interested in joining our stable of dungeon crawlers. What I am looking for are players who understand what it means to play with 12 and 13 year olds. The game is intended to be good light-hearted fun where the players are the heroes on a journey to defeat evil and pick up a bunch of loot along the way. A number of these young players come from Christian homes and so the play style must be comfortable to these youngsters AND their parents. (Think of this as an opportunity to show the Christian community how great gaming can be!) This affects the language and play styles that are suitable. We play on various random evenings between 7 and 9pm EST. We’d like to have a pool of players available who would enjoy coming and going when they are able. We will play using the voice chat system built into Roll20. Please have a headset to help with the call quality. (Although we do have one of my son’s friends who can only play via chat.)
