One of the defining characteristics of the World of Darkness is the variety of the settings, and the large number of settings available. There's not only the official gamelines (Vampire, Werewolf, Mage and whatnot) but the smaller settings as well, like Immortals or Inferno. There's such a variety out there that it almost seems a shame not to put them all to use. So, here's my thought. The party decides on a gameline (Vampire, Inferno, Geist, et cetera) to use. Everyone creates a character from that gameline. We play these characters for a short campaign, perhaps six or eight sessions. Once that campaign is done, we drop that gameline and continue with another. New characters are made, and we start a new campaign. Basically, we continually try out different settings and characters within the World of Darkness universe, A campaign lasts for a few sessions, creating a short story that arrives at a natural conclusion before we move on to the next system. Does that sound interesting to anyone?
