D&D 4e Lore Primer

So I see a lot of new 4e players coming in because of the Majestic VTT that is roll20. Many of these players are interested in lore and some wish to be DMs. I am making this Topic as a general primer for D&D 4e lore. Please feel free to add to this. notes: You can use lore from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd edition, but I have found that some things in the lore have changed. The D&D world is limitless on purpose. 3rd parties are always adding new continents and lore that can be used or ignored. The Basics There are seven general dimensions to the D&D world. The Elemental Chaos (The infinite universe) The Primordials live here, along with countless other beings. The Astral Sea ("The Heavens") The Gods live here, along with countless other beings. The World The world was first made by the Primordials, and then later shaped by the Gods. The Abyss (chaotic evil) A tiny shard of pure evil was planted deep in the Elemental Chaos beneath The World. Here is where all chaotic dark evil forms into a vast realm where demons are born into being. The Feywild When the gods took over shaping The World, the Primordials stepped back in and threw away the pieces they did not like. These pieces formed twin realms that are echos of The World itself. The Feywild is composed of all the pieces thought to vivid and bright. The Feywild mixes with The World in it's most vivid places. Some can even travel between realms here. The Shadowfell When the gods took over shaping The World, the Primordials stepped back in and threw away the pieces they did not like. These pieces formed twin realms that are echos of The World itself. The Shadowfell is composed of all the pieces thought to murky and dark. The Shadowfell mixes with The World in it's most dark places. Some can even travel between realms here. The Nine Hells (evil) Legend tells of a being that amassed a great army and invaded the realm of powerful God. Against all odds he destroyed the god and claimed his vast nine layered realm. The other Gods decided to seal this realm (for whatever reason, perhaps panic). The hurried event had a disastrous effect. This is the realm of the Nine Hells, where devils spawn and seek to claim souls for power. This will be a work in progress, I hope this helps any 4e players/DMs
I'm going to reserve this first reply in case i run out of room. I will be working more on this soon I promise.
There's lore in 4e? Just kidding. But seriously, I think there should be a disclaimer to the effect of "lore can be created, abandoned, or changed at any time by a group" to emphasize that lore is really an optional thing. I see it as a source for ideas, rather than a canon type thing.

The lore is nice because you can build your own realm with a lot of the work already done; so you can focus more on characters, establishments, etc.
