Any groups in European time zones?

Just wondering if there are currently any open games for people in the general timezones for Europe. I'd be very interested in trying roll20 as a player before i try my luck running a game as a GM myself. Anyone out there?
Hey.GMT+1 here(Poland). My last experience with Role Playing was ~8 years ago but I'd be glad to try my luck[as a player] here on roll20.Count me in if you're interested.
Thanks! If we could find another three or four, we could try to run a game...
not European time zone, but I am up for playing a game in the morning... so could potentially be involved (GMT -6 here)
I'm a newbie from Norway (GMT+1) and am also interested in joining a group.
GMT +1 (Poland, like Adam) here, I'd gladly play with you.
Any preferences as to systems? I only have D&D3.5 rulebooks, so that's the only thing I could run as a GM. Any other suggestions?
Not European but work third shift in the US and looking to play in the AM here. I know lots of games and would really love to play. -5 GMT I believe.
I've never played any RP Games, either tabletop or Roll20, but I'd very much enjoy trying. I'm in GMT+0(England).
I'd prefer to play 4e, but I can pick up 3,5e fairly quick if it comes to that.
Any preferences as to systems? I only have D&D3.5 rulebooks, so that's the only thing I could run as a GM. Any other suggestions? 3.0 would be even better, but I'll happily play 3.5 as well. 4e is dumbed down and universally considered a bad direction for D&D, so let's stick to 3.x.
So I thought I might try to run a 'classic' 3rd/3.5 ed dungeon crawl, called 'forge of fury'. If no one else volunteers to GM, that is. If you've already played it, no problems, the goal really is to get to try the tools offered by roll20. I have the materials, so uploading the data will take some time but won't be overly time-consuming, I'd expect. The idea would be to try to do a 2-3hour session. Just chat and/or audio and the virtual tabletop. I would probably hand out the iconic characters from 3rd edition (Dwarf fighter, elven wizard, halfling rogue, human cleric, gnome bard, half-elf ranger, etc). After all, this is a test run, we don't need to spend that much time with backgrounds, and developing individual characters... Who would be interested?
how about 3.75? :D Would love to see Pathfinder, just because I think it does class balance better. 3.5 is okay too. (all of the basic pathfinder stuff is open source- just google it) And... egh. Half of the fun of DnD is making up your own character... pass. I'd also prefer to see an ongoing session
I would love to join, only played a few sessions of pathfinder so far but I would love to try D&D to.
Khaele, the point is really to try the platform. I won't ask players to spend lots of time making characters for an experimental run. But if you would like to play on the condition of preparing your own character, no problem. If this first run works, however, I could then actually start a campaign in 3.5 or pathfinder (though I'm unfamiliar with the latter).
I’m also looking for a starter group in Europe (GMT+1, near Brussels). I have the corebooks for D&D 4e/3.5e and Pathfinder, sadly I cannot find a group of people to play with in my neighborhood so I never got around to actually playing it. Hopefully I have more success here.
Hey Matthias, I'd be interested in a one off test run, I'm GMT+1 available after 8pm on weekdays.
So, I think we have the required number of players, why don't we start as soon as possible?
If there's still space I'd love to give it a shot as well. Not experienced with D&D past Baldur's Gate implementation, only played TORG as PnP. Vienna, GMT+1 here.
There's a lot of preparatory work involved. I'll try to get something done by next week, but I have a full time job and my weekends are pretty much occupied, so I am not promising anything. When I have some basic stuff ready, I'll post here again, and we can try to setup a three hour session.
Ok, looking forward to it. Thank you for doing the preparations.
[double-post accidentally] Cool, looking forward to it :)
Awesome, I'm looking to it.
Is this still open for players? I am in central Europe and have flexible hours. I would like to be a player or a GM, whatever is needed. I can't seem to find private messaging in here - how do you guys communicate?
I'm up for some Pathfinder, i'm GMT+2 .
Okay, so I've managed to prepare the adventure a bit. Since I'm running it, we will be playing according to D&D 3.5 rules. No prior knowledge of the system is required, and if you don't want to submit a level 3 character, I'll provide one of the 'archetypical' characters of the 3rd edition. I would be hoping to run the game from 20-23 (UTC+1) on Wednesday or Thursday this week. If not possible this week, then perhaps early next week. Let me be clear: this is a test run. We'll be playing for two-three hours on the first go. This assumes that there will be no technical glitches. I cannot guarantee that we'll play through the whole module in further sessions... this will depend on how well the first run goes, how you fit as a group, etc. I'm looking for four to five players only, preferably in the general European time zones (GMT, GMT+/-1). If you are interested, contact me via the roll20 message system with a character proposal (if you want to submit one), and an e-mail for contact. I would prefer to try to run this on Google+ Hangout, because my test experience with the built in audio/video link wasn't very good. If you want to submit a character of your own, please send it to me in advance. To keep things simple, please submit characters from the core rules (races and classes) using the point buy system, with 28 points. Starting wealth is 2700gp. If you have questions, now is the time to ask them.
I'm up for it, i'll prepare a sorcerer if that's ok. EDIT: I'm talking to Matthias if it's unclear. Also, do we make a character using the point buy system with 28 points and then level it up to lvl 3?
Yes. Point buy system with 28 points, lvl3 core races and classes only, 2700gp starting wealth.
