Quick question, prepping for game in 3 hours. Tokens that represent monsters.

So I have been making tokens that represent different monsters, adding the attributes and bars all ahead of time. I just seen a HUGE problem though. Example: Kobold Skirmisher. So I have a kolbold skirmisher character with all it's stats in the info and the token all set up. GREAT i'm thinking, I can just drag and drop like 8 of these onto the board. Problem: When I subtract health from one token, ALL the tokens loose health. (because they are all connected to the same character) Is there any way around this? Or will I have to make duplicate characters for each and every kobold I place on the table? Is there a better strategy for setting up ahead of time?
Disassociate the tokens health bar to the character sheet. You can use it to set the number, then change the token bar so that it is not tied to anything on the sheet. Once you do this, remove the current token from the default and replace it with the new one. Now when you pull over 8 copies of the same token the health won't all be tied together.
This question comes up all the time so I made this helpful guide: How To Solve That Problem
