Name: Abe Age: 28 Class/race idea: Celestial warlock. Tiefling (Mordekainen's sub race allowed?).  Experience with d&d: 3 years of pathfinder, 1 year of 5e.  Experience with Roll20: 1 year with 5e. Approx 200 hours on campaigns here.  Character backstory idea: Depends on party alignment, and I would like some more information about the setting, but I have a basic concept.  In the destitute crooks of the underdark Od Ben-Asham searched for a heat that would sustain him. In his pursuit he found a feather among scorched brimstone. When he ran his fingers over its soft edges he felt a radiant burn hotter than any inferno, and this heat seared his flesh. In this brief exchange he glimpsed a scene of a Deva cornered by mindflayers, lashing out in a desperate fight. In its final gambit, the Deva imploded and released the heavenly spirit it nourished to cleanse the planes of these abominations. Since then it had been praying for a creature to find it and nourish it back to strength, and the Deva blindly bound itself to Od's soul mixing celestial and infernal bloodlines. The parasitic angel seeks to overwhelm the young devil blood and use him for its own godly purpose, however Od is a creature fiercely ambitious and he strives to force the celestial to submit to his rule.
Damn, I was just wishing I could see one of these but can't play on Sundays, RIP.
possibly a bump?

Is this an online game? Name: Leslie 'Maz' Mazro Age: 23 Class/Race: Human Bard? Experience with D&D: 10 years of 3.x/3.5, new to 4th and 5th. ' ' Roll20: Nada Character Backstory Idea: Depends on party alignment (but likely CN) .... Leslie Mazro is an explorer at heart. One part minstrel, one part scoundrel, umteen parts social butterfly. His silver tongue, and his wanderlust through lands tranquil and treacherous, means he's eternally careful to straddle that line between being no real threat, a flexible moral code, and worming his way into the hearts of a society's elite that killing him is likely a hassle one way or another.  Utterly vain, vacuous, fashion-conscious and flighty, he tends to aid the group through knowing who to bribe, who to ask favours from, and all the minutiae of social ammunition he has collected over his travels. Worse comes to the worst he can bring those dancing feet to bear in combat when words or coin fail to gain any purchase, but a duelist he is not ... though he is no short of words or presence that he may intimidate his sapient opposition into assuming as such.
Name Zeefarius 'Zeef' Hyragglosufleffenheimer III Age 82 Class/race Rock Gnome Wizard Experience with d&d - Started playing over a year ago as a DM. Have run/completed 4 campaigns.   Experience with Roll20 - Equally the same as above! All my games were run on roll20, using pretty much any feature at my fingertips.  Character backstory idea - Both gnomes and wizards alike rarely live a mundane lifestyle. For the great Hyragglosufleffinheimer clan, that is exponentially true! Being a family of knowledge hunters and graduates of some of the greatest arcane schools the realm has to offer, they hardly spend a moment at home and keep themselves constantly adventuring in search for new methods of magic, technological marvels and powerful arcane relics. While such endeavors sound greedy and self-centered, the family of Hyragglosufleffinheimers often use their strength of mind and intellect to fight against the forces of evil that plague the world and threaten peace, for if evil prevails, a renaissance of magic and technological innovation will not be possible.  As for why he's interested in the underdark, he wishes to vanquish evil, aide his svirfneblin cousins and share some of his knowledge with them.

sure I'll submit :D, but when will we know which of us have been picked? Name: Maxwell Engimas Age: 350 Class/race idea: Dwarf cleric (knowledge) Experience with d&d: 1-2 years Experience with Roll20: sadly none, but willing to learn  Character backstory idea: (Thinking Lawful Neutral...want to leave some of his backstory open for DM interpretation and plot hooks :o ) Maxwell has always loved knowledge, and horded whatever he could get his hands upon. He's done so with such vigor that he's forgotten his own name, or least his original one; he's had a few over the years, but never cares to remember them if they take up much-needed space. As a dwarf, he was expected by many in his village to become a warrior, and he does recall faded memories of being made fun of for his thirst for wisdom. While he laughed it off, this did create within him an antagonistic mood toward any who use brawl to solve problems, as opposed to brains. (those whipper-snappers never think about their problems; they just smash their way through.) But, he always looks back and chuckles about it; in the end, he won out; he's lived a long and fulfilled life, while they probably died on the battlefield.  Maxwell has spent almost 300 years seeking out libraries, archives and ancient tomes, reading all he could from cover to cover. But, as he enters his twilight years, he realised a horrible truth about his knowledge: he was going to pass on with this information stuck in his mind, and so he sets out to pass on his wisdom to a younger generation.
