How do i go about removing and placing underlining in my handouts. I currently have multiple handouts with underlined words, but i don't know how to remove them, and i don't remember how they got there in the first place.
To remove the underline, go into edit on the handout then click on the word. You should get a small popup that asks edit or unlink. Click unlink and save handout when done with it.
It could be that you pasted it from a source that did support underlining. Sometimes odd bits of formatting transfer. The easiest way is to delete the word or phrase and retype.
I agree with Keithcurtis. If it was a copy/paste and the formating got included then the only thing that I know of is to delete and retype but you try a cut and paste as plain text to see if it strips the underline formating also.
