Hello! Me and a friend are looking for a D&D 5E game to join. We're both experienced RPG players, quite relaxed and definitely not the type to nitpick on rules and argue with the GM (i'm actually totally fine with bending some rules if it helps the story). The game we're looking for can be a one-shot or an ongoing campaign and there's no strong preferences on setting. For as long as it suits the character ideas we'd like to play (a centaur who wants to become a great martial artist and a bard who makes music by tap dancing on a massive drum), any setting is fine. Personally, I think an Oriental-themed one might suit us best, but, as mentioned before, that's definitely not a requirement. On the other hand, we really wish for: A game with a lighthearted-ish tone. We don't actually mind the occasional dark moments, but we really prefer a game that is not consistently grim, gritty and gloomy. A focus that leans more towards the narrative. This does not rule out combat scenarios, but we'd like to avoid a whole adventure that is, for example, exclusively based on dungeon delving. A text based game. We're much more comfortable typing than speaking into a mic. A suitable schedule would be weekends and evenings (Central European timezone, GMT+2). Thanks. ^^
