I'm planning on starting my first campaign as a DM in a couple of months. I'll only be accepting new players who are more dedicated to roleplaying than combat. Combat is inevitable, but a campaign where players don't roleplay is fairly boring. Morally speaking, all types of characters will be allowed (in traditional d&d sense, every alignment is allowed) and players will have to deal with any conflict that may happen inside the party. This means that I probably wont allow skills such as "Sense Motive" (again, refering to d&d to provide examples) to be rolled against another player... It's your choice if you want to trust what another player says or does, and I don't want rolls to intervene in that interaction (you will be able to use it on NPC's though). The purpose of this post is to know which system people want to play the most. D&D 3.5E D&D 4E Pathfinder Numenera (probably one of my favourites) Dragon Age Also: Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader A Song of Ice and Fire RPG (not sure about this one though) New Wold of Darkness Shadowrun These last game systems however, if chosen, will take much longer to prepare, since I'm not really used to them. Let me know about your choices by comment. Also remember to follow this topic, since any updates will be posted here. Obviously, and sadly, when the campaign is ready, and if the number of candidates is too high, I will not be able to have all of them in the campaign so there'll be a selection/"interview". Mic will be required, cam is optional (I don't plan on using cam myself). Also don't expect a map for every single scenario... chances are I'll only be using roll20 for dice rolling :p Schedule to be decided (I'm GMT+0, btw). Also, expect a probably weird accent :) I think this is all for the moment :) Let me know your votes so that I can begin working on this ASAP! Cheers!
