idiots question about advanced fog of war

I love the advanced fog of war but I always screw it up and I`m very confused! Please help!  What I want: - I want the whole map to be visible but grayed out, so tokens are not visible without line of sight to my pcs - I would still prefer to be able to manually block some parts to complete darkness, but it`s ok if I can`t, I can just use black blocks of color to do so. - I don`t mind if all the players can see what each other can see.  Please, how do I achieve this?

The tokens would have to be on the gm layer to be invisible to the PCs. That is really the only effective way that I know of to do what you are asking (map visible but grayed out and tokens not viewable). The second could be dynamic light lines otherwise you are looking at using fog of war. Drawing blocks of color works also. The last one about players seeing what each can see is only available if you assign each player to each token (there might be an API script for that also) so there has to be a level of trust among everyone.
