Players Wanted: 4 Game: Swords & Wizardry Complete (OD&D Retro Clone) When: Wednesdays from 9:00pm to 11:00pm EST I am looking for players to join a new Swords & Wizardry game. Swords & Wizardry is faithful in style and feel to original Dungeons & Dragons as published in the original three brown books and the following supplements. If you've never played an OSR style game then you may be in for a shock. Firstly the game is lethal. You play a hero, but you are not a super hero. If you're not careful, your beginning character can be killed off in two blows. Second is the dice determine your player. You roll stats and fit your character to the type of race and class that is compatible with your rolls. If you want to play a paladin, you better roll well. Third is that brains beats brawn. You're not going to be able to kill everything you encounter. Sometimes running away or figuring out an alternative non combative option is the way to go. Fourth is that the game has descending armor class. That means a lower AC is better than a higher AC. This isn't anything like 5e, but if you are looking for something new come join us. I think you'll be surprised at how fun this game can be.
