I'm looking for a group of players and a DM, either in a new or currently running campaign, that is long term, weekly, and has RP. With a decent mix of combat, social interaction, exploration and puzzle solving. My timezone is +12 GMT, so a evening game from US or Aus/NZ time zones would be ideal. I'm looking for a DM who spends ample time preparing for each session, who is collaborative with their players to create a story, who engages in player character personal stories, and who is flexible about rules and homebrew content so long as it keeps the game moving and people having fun. I want an atmosphere that fosters social interaction between players, not only during play, but between sessions. Voice chat is mandatory, as is Discord, video chat is preferable. From the other players, I don't want to see joke characters, constant bickering, or general immaturity. I want a group of players who enjoy getting into their characters heads, and telling their story, while being brief about it if at all possible. And they must reliably show up to each game, or give ample warning if they intend to skip or leave. As for myself, I've been playing for a number of months, but have has little success in finding solid groups to play with. Either because players don't show up, leave mid way, or DM's not knowing what they are doing and making the experience miserable for everybody. While I enjoy RP, I am still something of an amateur in that regard. I am flexible, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make the experience fun for everybody, or just helping somebody out. I may not be the most experienced player, but I do read and re read the rules and material often and rigorously. I enjoy researching and theory crafting. As such I am will to play most anything, depending on the group and campaign. (except Fighter, as I find them to be painfully dull) I am partial towards the Druid, and casters in general.
