Copied from my Looking for Players listing Who so vague? Rather than shoehorn you into a 'custom homebrew world' that I've been working on for 17 years and being offended when you didn't read the 11 page handout on the societal customs of The Great Indigo Plains Gnomes , I prefer to decide with the players what sort of world they'd like to play in at the same time as we create characters. I feel that having everyone on the same page and with the same expectations is the most important part of starting a new game. So what ARE we playing then? Personally I'd like to dig into the new Stars Without Numbers 2nd Edition as I've had a ton of fun with the original in the past, but If Sci-Fi doesn't turn out to be what the group wants then you can't go wrong with D&D 5E. This would be another topic of discussion during 'session zero' where we decide the game, the setting, the characters etc. Newbies preferred? I've been lucky enough to have some awesome experiences with TTRPGs but I've also been in some games that weren't so great. I do my best to give new players a fun first experience in a no-pressure environment, while helping them to learn both the system we're playing and how to contribute positively to the group experience. The goal is for everyone to have a great time and discover that a good TTRPG can be wonderful, and then bring that experience forward with you into your future games. But it's not all selfless, I've found that new players are often the best ones because of enthusiasm and a lack of preconceived notions. So while I won't exclude seasoned players, newbies are preferred! I'm interested, now what? Sadly the number one killer of TTRPGs is scheduling. We'll be running on Monday nights at 8pm EDT for roughly 4 hours a session on a weekly basis for an indefinite amount of time. While absences here and there are to be expected because that's just how life works, please don't apply if you don't think you can make this time work consistently. If you're interested make a post below or message me directly and I'll be in touch to have a chat on Discord to see if you fit in with the group! Also feel free to contact me or post below if you have any questions or are looking for further clarifications.
38 and new to the whole tabletop RPG thing. I've heard about D&D in the past but never knew what it was. Recently I have discovered what D&D was and became extremely interested. Through my studies, I have discovered a host of other games from various genres and am now even more excited to get started in one of these games. I have the availability to be in-game during the day and time specified and do not foresee my schedule changing anytime in the near future. I would be happy to join you and your group and learn the ins and outs of playing tabletop RPG's.

Hi! I'm 32 and I've attempted to play D&D a few times but it's never gotten very far and I don't feel like I've had a "proper" experience. I'm looking for a roleplay group since most of my other experiences has focused on combat. I've only ever tried 5E but would be willing to give other things a go. Discord: Lily Clean#8164
